I’ve had the opportunity to work with Amelia, and our sessions have helped me to grow both personally and professionally. Amelia can “read” situations super-fast which makes it so much easier to explain things, because she always understands the issues immediately. In her sessions she would take me out of my hectic day to day mindset and would give me the tools to have moments for reflection. Amelia has been there for me during a very challenging, but also very promising time in my career. Three years ago, I had been promoted to supervisor, but just as I took that opportunity I knew that I had way more potential and would like to get the best out of me. Staying in line with my growth path, the most logical next position that I wanted to work towards was that of a manager. But not an ordinary one. Amelia knew exactly which areas of myself I had to work on for me to grow to become a manager who can lead. What I like the most about our sessions is the fact that we never work on one thing. Instead we work on multiple aspects at the same time, since Amelia always says: “You can’t be a good leader without self-awareness. You can’t lead others if you can’t lead yourself.” This inspired me, because like I said I didn’t want to be an ordinary manager. During our sessions I bring up some issues that I am facing, and Amelia always challenges me to come up with out of the box solutions. She always challenges me to not just focus on the issue, but to see the whole picture. Amelia has shown me how I can be a better version of myself by helping me to invest and develop myself to become the leader I want to be. I will be forever grateful for that!
