It all started with my deep personal and spiritual transformation, which reverberated from within and peaked in 2019. I began to overflow from what I was experiencing inside. I experienced the greatest and most profound transformation.
‘About Integral Life’ was born out of this process of deep spiritual transformations and rebirth, that changed my whole sense of living and understanding of the world.
I have a few elements that symbolize this process of deep transformations and rebirth. The lotus flower is one of them and it is the most representative element and symbol of ‘About Integral Life’.
That is where my most comprehensive program – Personal Growth & Holistic Living – came from. This is pure holistic & conscious living at its core. To awake, heal and transform yourself from the inside out, through a whole person approach to mind-body-soul well-being.
The lotus flower has a deep history beyond its beauty. It is regarded in many different cultures as a symbol of awakening of consciousness, divinity, purity, resilience, overcoming adversity, wholeness, transformation, spiritual growth, rebirth and enlightenment.
The flower thrives in nutrient-rich muddy conditions and grows and rises from the dark muddy waters. As the lotus blooms, the petals unfold one by one in the direction of the sun.
Lotus characteristics are a perfect metaphor for the human condition. Buddhism considers that human life is like the lotus flower and the mud, the realities of daily life, suffering, obstacles, challenges and difficulties we face.
We all experience hardship and suffering in life, on some level. And we all may relate to feeling stuck in the mud at times due to life’s challenges, struggles, obstacles, loss, grief, sadness, illness, betrayal, for instance.
However what we believe is that we all can pull something from every experience, even the toughest challenges, that can help us to grow. Regardless of your past, or what may have happened to you, you are not to blame for what happened. That does not define who you are and it is not a life sentence either. Therefore you are not imprisoned.
Yet you are responsible for what you do with what happened to you, with your life story. Either you become a victim and succumb to it and to the adversity or you take ownership of your life and redesign it. You have the inner power to define your present moment, and transform it into a beautiful life story.
The lotus flower reminds us beautifully that even in situations that are difficult and muddy, we can rise from that dark, muddy place, into beauty and rebirth. Which means that our obstacles can be looked at, accepted and transformed into openings and new opportunities. We all have the freedom to choose how we view and approach those experiences.
Just like the lotus flower you can use the mud – the experiences – to grow and bloom. And remember without the mud there is no lotus. Without the mud we would not have the experiences necessary for our own growth.
Nevertheless, in order to experience this process, it is crucial and fundamental to awaken, to become aware of ourselves.
