We are more than the Body
Western physiology, alone of all systems of medicine in the world, does not address the existence of the soul. Within my life’s philosophy and practice this is a vital dimension. Think of your soul as the essence of who you are, the core of your being, the connection to divinity.
When you take the level of the soul to be the basis of life – the very ground of existence – spirituality becomes an essential and active principle in life.
We will explore this dimension, by tuning into the spiritual journey, helping you to discover and embrace the magnificence of your true identity and unique essence. This is all about self-knowledge and pure AWARENESS.
The spiritual level is the deepest, the most profound and the most instrumental in creating a fabulously rewarding and fulfilling life.
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.
Aristotle
At heart, “About Integral Life” means a refusal to join the zombie apocalypse — to not be numb, disconnected, on autopilot, unable to feel yourself or others.
Researchers suggest that up to ninety percent of our beliefs, emotions, thoughts, behaviors and actions are unconscious. We often don’t question the things we think, feel, say and do. We assume that it’s just how it is. And even when we are aware of our patterns, we may keep repeating them, falling again in the same hole. We keep having the same negative experiences and the same results.
In other words, we cruise through much of life on automatic — believing our thoughts and reacting to life out of imprints that were shaped when we were very young. Due to the nature of our early imprinting, we may cruise through much of life living other people’s values, purposes and dreams — not our own.
What to do? How do we move through this?
I find that the path begins with self-awareness. Without conscious awareness of what is going on within us, we can’t tell how our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health is. And what may need attention.
As we come to know ourselves, we can differentiate what is ours and others. We come to see and accept our conditioning or strategies for dealing with the world. These patterns and strategies exist for a reason.
It may sound weird, but our very conditioning, wounding and deep patterns can be a lantern that shows us the way to our true identity and essence.
As we explore our patterns, beliefs, and wounds, our purpose unfolds and our relationships change, too. We come to see that the very things we love and detest in others, are often core aspects of ourselves. When that happens, we come to understand others and the world around us in new ways.
Our journey to align with our true identity can stir discomfort. We may discover things we would prefer not to see. It’s tempting to deny our most deeply-embedded stuff, to push it away.
As we become aware of ourselves, we change the way we deal with our patterns, beliefs and blocks, since we have a deep understanding of where it is coming from. We become lighter, more relaxed and we can see things that we never saw before. We develop greater wisdom and compassion for others and their struggles. We see synchronicities that are hard to see when we’re in a cloud of habitual reactions. And these synchronicities point the way to our path.
When this happens, it’s as if the light of your true identity, your unique essence naturally switches on, illuminating the way. Your next step becomes crystal clear.
As we work together, we will explore this. I will guide you to tap your own inner essence, to illuminate what is already deep inside of you (your essence). The way I see it, our purpose, expression and way-of-being change as we grow.
We blossom when we peel away layers of conditioning and release old ways of orienting in the world. We reveal our true nature and step into authenticity.
I have found that the more I am aligned with my authentic self, my essence, the easier and better life gets. This path ignites a happiness that comes from deep within.
My role is to act as a guide on this journey. The consultations take place at your own pace and convenience. I offer a map and together we discover the territory, with respect, kindness and compassion.
